KILACHAND DEVCHAND   POLYTECHNIC, PATAN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

  1. THE TITLE:

      The name of the association shall be K.D. Polytechnic, Patan Alumni Association

      (KDPAA),It will be referred as KDPAA  here after in the document. 

  1. Registered office:

The office of the Association will be at K.D. Polytechnic, Patan, Near Hemchandrachrya North Gujarat University, Patan (N.G.)Pin 384265 

  1. Objectives of the Association:

(1)        To establish, to Develop and to strengthen contact among the past students, present students and the staff of the K.D.Polytechnic, Patan. 

(2)        To provide a common platform to Past and Present students of K.D. Polytechnic, Patan and other stake holder for capabilities enhancement through multidimensional activities. 

(3)        To extend co-operation to the Institute in its future development plans. 

(4)        To promote the students of the Institute for various activities like In plant training, Educational and Culture. 

(5)        To promote KDP’s activities in India and abroad to enhance its regulation as a premier teaching and research institute with high standards of excellences in Engineering, Technology and assist KDP to maintain these standards. 

(6)        This constitution and such byelaws and rules in harmony shall govern KDPAA therewith as may be adopted as herein provided.

 1.     Rules and Regulation of Alumni Association.

      1.      Name-K.D. Polytechnic, Patan Alumni Association.

2.      The association shall consist of the following categories of membership. 

(a)    Patrons: Any individual or association or firm, who shall pay a subscription of Rs10,000 or more to the association will be enrolled as Patron.

(b)    Vice-Patrons: Any individual or association or firm, who shall pay a subscription of RS.5,000 or more to the association, will be enrolled as Vice-patron.

(c)    Donor: Any individual or association or firm, who shall pay a subscription of  RS.500 or more to the association will be enrolled as Donor.

(d)    Alumni Members: Only the students of K.D. Polytechnic, Patan admitted in year 2004-05 and onwards shall be eligible to become alumni member for life by paying an amount of Rs. 200+Caution money deposit +Hostel deposit (if applicable) prevailing from time to time. The student admitted to   K.D. Polytechnic, Patan in any discipline becomes Alumni member after getting his diploma award.

(e)    Associate Member: Faculty and staff of K.D. Polytechnic, Patan shall be eligible to become Associate Member for life by paying an amount of Rs. 150.The existing students (admitted before June 2004 -05) shall be eligible to become associate member by paying an amount of Rs.100/- + Caution money deposit +Hostel deposit  (if applicable) prevailing from time to time.

 

                                    Every qualified member will have a right to attend any general body meeting of the Association and will be eligible to vote thereat.
